After living on this planet a good while, I’ve come to realize that one cannot compartmentalize life into neat suitcases. Who we are as people spills over into all aspects of our lives. Spiritual colors mommy-hood. Teaching isn’t just what I do, it’s how I think, constantly processing in order to convey to others. And writing… well, no matter how many other things I do, there’s that narrative running in my head, or a poem or a song coming together about someone or something that has resonated deeply within my soul–be it funny, sad, or even True.
